Morse, Bradley react to budget veto public hearing

Concord, NH – Today, the New Hampshire Legislature held their second of three public hearings on the effects of the budget veto on state departments. Following the hearing, Senate Republican Leader Chuck Morse (R-Salem) and Senator Jeb Bradley issued the following joint statement:

“My Democratic colleagues’ desire to implement an income tax, a capital gains tax and higher taxes on job creators large and small is more important to them than passing a budget. The Governor has offered repeated and reasonable compromises, but my Democratic colleagues would rather resist, grandstand and blame everyone but themselves for the current budget situation.”
