Big news!
This morning, after a nearly two year battle and under the new leadership of the Republican Majority, the Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee finally voted to accept the first round of a $46 million dollar Federal grant for expanding our state’s public charter schools.
With the pandemic forcing many New Hampshire schools to go to remote or hybrid models, encouraging innovation in our schools seems an easy choice. Yet, Democrats on the committee chose to play politics with this money for nearly two years. Accepting this grant is a huge win for New Hampshire families that want more input in how their children are educated and a huge win for educational choice.
Our new Senate Republican Majority is already showing real results and there is much more to come in the new year!
Thank you,
