Governor Chris Sununu announced that he will nominate Lori Shibinette of Northfield, New Hampshire, to serve as the next Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services. The nomination will take place at the December 18, 2019, Executive Council Meeting.
Lori Shibinette is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of New Hampshire Hospital. She previously served as a Deputy Commissioner at the Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to State service, Lori served as the CEO of the Merrimack County Nursing Home and as their Director of Clinical Services. A registered and trained Nurse, Lori has extensive experience on the front lines of health care.
