President Trump is putting American patients first, but Democrats want to make Americans pay more to give free health care to illegal aliens.<\/p>\n

Democrats from Pete Buttigieg to Bernie Sanders have all campaigned on plans to take away private health insurance, whether through government-run \u201cpublic options\u201d or Medicare-For-All:<\/p>\n

Nevada Independent: \u201cThe union, which provides health insurance to 130,000 workers and their family members through a special trust fund, strongly opposes the Medicare-for-all plans the two candidates support, which would eliminate the union\u2019s health plan by design.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

While the Democrats\u2019 plans would kick nearly 200 million Americans off their health care and require trillions in new tax hikes, President Trump is fighting to lower health care costs and delivering real results.<\/p>\n

For the second year in a row, benchmark premiums for Obamacare plans are falling.<\/p>\n

Six states have average benchmark plan premiums decreasing 10% or more.<\/p>\n

In Michigan and Pennsylvania, individual plans will decrease 6%.<\/p>\n

In Florida, individual plans will decrease 2%.<\/p>\n

In Wisconsin, individual plans will decrease 9%.<\/p>\n

The Trump Administration has made it easier for small businesses and self-employed workers to join together to form Association Health Plans, increasing options for workers.<\/p>\n

The Trump Administration has expanded the availability of short-term, limited-duration plans, which offer consumers more choices that \u201ctypically cost less than half.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cost of prescription drugs in the United States has declined on a year-over-year basis for eight of the past twelve months. With one exception, the last time drug prices went down over a 12-month period was in 1973. <\/p>\n

The Trump Administration recently announced a new \u201cSafe Importation Action Plan\u201d that will allow companies to begin importing drugs from other countries, saving Americans money.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Trump Administration released the American Patients First blueprint, \u201ca comprehensive plan to bring down prescription drug prices and out-of-pocket costs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within 100 days of the blueprint\u2019s release, \u201c15 drug companies…reduced list prices, rolled back planned price increases, or committed to price freezes for the rest of 2018.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
