Following the hearing, Senate Republican Leader Chuck Morse (R-Salem) and Senator Jeb Bradley issued the following joint statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Democratic colleagues\u2019 desire to implement an income tax, a capital gains tax and higher taxes on job creators large and small is more important to them than passing a budget.
